The Kinder International Education Foundation (the Kinder Foundation) began operations in 2003 to raise needed funds for a single charter school.

Within two years, it became clear to us that many, many San Diego area charter schools needed funding to offer a truly well-rounded education.
Thus, our focus and vision expanded to support multiple area charter schools.

Currently, the Kinder Foundation offers physical education equipment, programming and professional development opportunities to over 14 schools in the San Diego Unified School District.

In the future, we hope to expand our support to include arts education, teacher retention & teacher training.
